Learning to fly at night is an important skill for any pilot particularly a Commercial pilot and is extremely useful for PPL holders who don’t want to be restricted by daylight hours.
At Major Blue Air, our NVFR course is a comprehensive course which contains:
- Instrument flight (full and limited panel)
- Night circuits,
- Night visual navigation

- This includes the training and use of supplemental radio navigation aids like VOR and
- Complete training and the use of GPS
You are required to have 10 hours of instrument flying for the issue of a Commercial Pilot Licence, during this course not only can you count the instrument time towards the issue of your CPL but it will allow you to build night hours while training towards your CPL.
When you finish this course you will have over 10 hours of night flying in your logbook !
